Need a World Species List?
If you are looking for a complete listing of all bird species you can download one from Birdpedia...
The list is in HTML format but a link to an XML version (ZIP file) can be found at the bottom of the list.
How can I access my Country of Interest?
Each country has its own country code (ISO - usually two (2) characters). For example, Australia is au, United Kingdom (Great Britain and Ireland) is uk and Galapagos is ecga.
If you know the code for your country of interest, enter it in the box provided at the top left. Alternatively, you
can select your country from the dropdown list, or, go to the map representing your region of the world and click
on the country (this option is still under development).
There are 236 countries currently available.
